# Depositing to Universal Accounts V2

#### Migrating to Universal Accounts V2

UniversalX has relaunched with Universal Accounts V2, a major upgrade to account performance across the platform that makes fills 5X faster.

Migrating takes just a few minutes. To get set up:

**1. Log back in**

Log in to UniversalX using the same method and account you used before:

* Generated wallet: If you’re not automatically logged back in, you'll need to import your wallet again based on the seed you saved when you initially signed up.
* Social login: Use the same method (Google, X, or email) with the same account as you did originally. *E.g., if you used <degen@universalx.app> as your email login, make sure you use that one again.*

Once you're in, you'll have a fresh Universal Account with a new address and balance, though you’ll retain the same Diamonds you had before migration.

**2. Move your balance**

If you still hold a balance on your old Universal Account, you can transfer it directly to your new one:

1. Open Portfolio.
2. Select Send.
3. Choose the balance(s) you'd like to move.
4. Click the Wallet icon and send them to your new Universal Account.

If your old account is empty, simply fund your new one:

1. Open Portfolio.
2. Select Receive.
3. Deposit any supported token on the listed chains.
